Happy Day of the National Flag of Ukraine and Kharkiv City Day!

On August 23, we celebrate two important occasions – the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine and Kharkiv City Day.

The blue and yellow flag is a symbol of independence, strength, and unity of the Ukrainian people. It reflects the dream of a peaceful sky over fertile lands and serves as a guardian of our statehood.

On this day, Kharkiv also celebrates its City Day – the first capital of Ukraine, a city with a rich history, strong scientific and cultural traditions. We are proud to be part of this great academic hub.
