ХХІХ International Forum of Young Scientists «Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI century»

Today, students of the Department of Physical Foundations of Electronic Engineering took part in the ХХІХ International Forum of Young Scientists «Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI century».
As part of the section dedicated to photonics, laser and optoelectronic technologies, our students presented scientific reports on current topics in modern photonics, including:

  • physical principles of photonics;
  • lasers and laser systems, optoelectronic devices (including those based on photonic crystals);
  • the element base of optical computers;
  • development of three-dimensional dynamic holograms;
  • optical systems using microwave devices;
  • quantum informatics;
  • quantum principles and devices for information and measurement systems.

Participation in the Forum provided a valuable opportunity to share experiences, present research results, and connect with peers from leading universities in Ukraine and abroad.

Today, the PFEE Department held an meeting, marking the first in-person gathering of the team since the beginning of the full-scale war. Despite the ongoing challenges, faculty and staff came together to discuss current affairs and share plans for the future.

Key topics of the meeting included the upcoming rector elections, the current state of the department, and preparations for the admissions campaign. Special attention was given to strategies for attracting prospective students and enhancing outreach efforts.
