Day of Ukrainian Statehood
15.07.2025
Today, on July 15, we honor the millennia-long tradition of Ukrainian statehood, rooted in the legacy of Prince Volodymyr the Great — the ruler of Kyivan Rus who introduced Christianity and strengthened the foundations of our state.
This day is a reminder that the Ukrainian nation has deep historical roots, its own language, culture, legal traditions, and a will for freedom — along with the strength to defend its sovereignty.
In the time of full-scale war, Statehood Day carries a profound meaning — it stands as a symbol of the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the indomitability of our national idea.
Our department warmly greets everyone on this meaningful occasion.
Let us be worthy successors of Ukraine’s proud and heroic legacy!

Happy Navy Day
06.07.2025
On the first Sunday of July, we honor the bravery, resilience, and dedication of the defenders of Ukraine’s maritime borders — the Ukrainian Navy.
Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to the sailors, navigators, communications officers, medics, cadets, and all those who serve at sea and onshore. You are the shield of the Black Sea and a symbol of dignity and courage in the face of modern warfare.
Your service is not just about holding the line — it’s about defending freedom, national honor, and Ukraine’s maritime identity.
The nation is proud of you!
Our department warmly congratulates all those involved in naval service on their professional holiday.
We wish you victories, calm seas, and safe returns.
Glory to the Ukrainian Navy!
Glory to Ukraine!

Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!
28.06.2025
On June 28, we celebrate one of the most important national holidays — Constitution Day of Ukraine. On this day in 1996, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Constitution — a fundamental document that shaped the future of an independent, democratic, and lawful Ukraine.
The Constitution is more than a legal text — it is a symbol of freedom, dignity, and justice. It guarantees human rights and freedoms, and affirms the foundation of our statehood.
During these times of great challenge, we appreciate even more the true value of our Constitution. Today, it’s crucial to remember: the power of the law lies in its observance, and Ukraine’s future lies in unity and respect for everyone’s rights.
The department sincerely congratulates everyone on this important day!

Bachelor’s Thesis Defense – Day 2
25.06.2025
The second day of the bachelor’s thesis defenses took place today at the Department of Physical Foundations of Electronic Engineering. The session was dedicated to research that combines fundamental science with advanced engineering technologies.
Topics presented on Day 2 included:
— Ultraviolet radiation — studies of its physical properties, absorption mechanisms in various materials and biological structures, as well as an analysis of the potential applications of UV lasers in medicine, environmental monitoring, industry, and safety.
— Laser technologies for unmanned systems — research into the physical principles, system designs, operational characteristics, and development trends of laser-based technologies in autonomous platforms.
— Fiber Bragg grating sensors — modern solutions for precise measurements and environmental monitoring using optical sensing techniques.
The Examination Committee noted the relevance of the topics, the technical depth of the research, and the high level of independence demonstrated by the students.
