NEXT GEN DAY: Your Route to the Profession of the Future

On December 14, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted the career guidance event “NEXT GEN DAY: Your Route to the Profession of the Future.” Prospective students had the opportunity to explore the latest technological tools in laser and optoelectronic engineering and gain new, engaging knowledge in cutting-edge fields.
The demonstrations in optics, photonics, and optoelectronics drew particular interest, showcasing the practical applications of these technologies and their role in shaping the professions of the future. According to participants, the laser technology zone was recognized as one of the most impressive and educational areas of the event.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the event organizers, colleagues, and university leadership for creating the conditions to promote engineering and scientific fields and for the opportunity to convey to young people the importance of optics, photonics, and optoelectronics.

Head of the PFEE Department Appointed Expert of the Ukrainian Startup Fund

By the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF), Oleksandr Hnatenko, Head of the PFEE Department, has been appointed as an expert of the Fund in two areas — “Electronics and Photonics” and “Deep Tech”. His inclusion in the Fund’s expert pool is a testament to his high level of professional competence and the trust placed in him by a national institution that plays a key role in the development of Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem.
The Ukrainian Startup Fund provides systematic support for innovative projects, fosters the development of technology entrepreneurship, and contributes to the creation of competitive solutions in priority sectors. The participation of representatives of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in the Fund’s expert activities highlights the University’s active involvement in nationwide processes in the field of high technologies and innovation.
This appointment is significant not only as an individual professional achievement, but also as an opportunity to достойно represent Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics within the national and international innovation environment.

Day of the Faculty of Electronic and Biomedical Engineering at NURE

On November 29, an educational and outreach event dedicated to the Faculty Day of Electronic and Biomedical Engineering was held at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The event brought together academic staff, students, prospective applicants, school pupils, and their parents, creating an atmosphere of inspiration, creativity, and teamwork.
Throughout the day, guests had the opportunity to visit interactive and entertainment zones, observe demonstrations of modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, and take part in hands-on workshops, sports tournaments, competitions, and challenges. Such a dynamic format allowed participants to gain a deeper understanding of the faculty’s academic focus and the practical orientation of its educational programs.
The event was hosted by Yevhen Akhaiev, Head of the Internship Office “Career Center.” Welcome addresses were delivered by Acting Dean of the Faculty of Electronic and Biomedical Engineering, Vitalina Babenko, as well as heads of departments, who presented the faculty’s educational opportunities, key areas of activity, and career prospects for future specialists.
The Faculty Day became an excellent opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with the educational environment of the faculty, its academic achievements, and the wide range of opportunities available to students pursuing careers in electronics and biomedical engineering.
