Day of Ukrainian Statehood

Today, on July 15, we honor the millennia-long tradition of Ukrainian statehood, rooted in the legacy of Prince Volodymyr the Great — the ruler of Kyivan Rus who introduced Christianity and strengthened the foundations of our state.
This day is a reminder that the Ukrainian nation has deep historical roots, its own language, culture, legal traditions, and a will for freedom — along with the strength to defend its sovereignty.
In the time of full-scale war, Statehood Day carries a profound meaning — it stands as a symbol of the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the indomitability of our national idea.
