ELI Summer School 2025 (Day 4)
The ELI Summer School program continued with inspiring talks focused on space exploration, innovative chemistry and technology, and laboratory methods for recreating extreme cosmic conditions.
Topics discussed included:
- The Challenges of Missions to Inhospitable Places – Alessandro Atzei (European Space Agency, Netherlands)
- Space-Related Chemistry and Technology at Enceladus and Europa – Bernd Abel (Leipzig University, Germany)
- Warm Dense Matter: Creating Planets and Stars in the Laboratory – Dominik Kraus (University of Rostock, Germany)
- Hard X-ray Sources – Jens Uhlig (Lund University, Sweden)
- ELI Technologies – Hard X-ray Sources – Jaroslav Nejdl (ELI ERIC, Beamlines facility, Czech Republic)
The fourth day opened a window into the world of space missions, laboratory recreations of extreme states of matter, and the advancement of cutting-edge X-ray technologies. Once again, ELI proves to be a unique platform that unites diverse directions of modern science.
