Happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science!

Every year on February 11, the global community marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls.
Modern science is a key driver of technological progress, innovation, and sustainable development. Its advancement depends on diversity of thought, interdisciplinary collaboration, and equal opportunities. Women scientists make a substantial contribution to fundamental and applied research, engineering, IT, medicine, natural and social sciences, shaping new research directions and delivering impactful solutions.
For our Department, fostering gender equality in science and education is an integral part of academic culture. We are proud of our female faculty members, researchers, PhD candidates, and students who demonstrate high professional standards, actively participate in research projects, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and represent the University at national and international levels.
This day is not only an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women in science, but also a reminder of the importance of building an inclusive academic environment that enables every individual to realize their full research potential.

We sincerely congratulate all women dedicated to scientific work and wish them continued inspiration, professional growth, and groundbreaking discoveries.
