International Women in Engineering Day

On June 23, the world celebrates the International Day of Women in Engineering, which was first celebrated by the Society of Women Engineers (WES) of Great Britain in 2014, and in 2016 received the support of UNESCO. The celebration highlights the visibility of women in engineering and aims to bridge the gender gap in the engineering sector.
