The meeting of the Ministry of Education and Science
On November 20 in Kharkiv, a major event for Ukrainian science took place – the presentation of key aspects of reforms in the scientific field and the awarding of the country’s top scientists. The event brought together leading researchers, including employees of the PFEE department, who distinguished themselves through active participation.
The event was attended by Ukraine’s Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, and Deputy Minister Denys Kurbatov, who outlined directions for the development of science and introduced new initiatives to support scientists during this challenging period of war.
Higher education institutions and scientific organizations received awards for achievements in the following categories:
the highest publication activity,
the largest number of young scientists,
the highest performance in the “Horizon Europe” program.
The Ministry of Education and Science has initiated a process to transform the scientific field, which includes a comprehensive evaluation of scientific institutions and the provision of additional resources to support scientists.
Ukrainian science has great potential, and efforts to strengthen its international competitiveness are ongoing.
